We had a great time with our first round of bunny mini sessions!  The weather was beautiful and the bunnies cooperative!  Oh..and the kiddos were gorgeous!!!  Here is a sneak peek for the all the moms!

I am in the mood to spice things up a bit on my blog and facebook fan page, and see some fresh faces and new perspectives! In order to do this, I am hosting an awesome contest! Here’s the deal…

1. Have a little photo session with a child in your life (or you can submit a recent picture, if you prefer!)

2. Send your ONE favorite picture to me via email, photographybymg@yahoo.com, I will then post them to a special contest album on my facebook fan page. (You MUST include your name and phone number, and the child’s name and age with the picture. The ONLY thing published will be the child’s first name)

3. Join my facebook fan page, either by searching for “MG Studios” on facebook, or by the link found HERE.

4. Send people (your friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to join my facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!)

5. The winner will be announced on MONDAY, MARCH 29, 2010, based on the total number of votes for each entered image. Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry. A person must be a fan of my facebook fan page to vote. Votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!

RULES!

- Entries must be submitted by SUNDAY, MARCH 14 at MIDNIGHT! I will post all entries on MONDAY, MARCH 15, and the voting will begin immediately!!

- ONE entry per person.

- ONLY separate comments to a picture that state “vote” will be counted as a vote. Simply clicking “like” by the picture will NOT count as a vote!

- ONE vote per person!

- Voting will continue from MARCH 15 through MARCH 28. Winner will be announced on MARCH 29, 2010!!!

- Submitted images must be of a child or children under the age of 18.

- For obvious reasons, photos taken by professional photographers will not be accepted.

The GRAND PRIZE winner will receive a complimentary portrait session with me and a CD with the best 10 images in full-resolution, with a print release! That is a $1000 value!!!

ALL entries will receive a complimentary 11x14 with a paid session.

The session must take place in between APRIL 1, 1010 AND JUNE 1, 1010. A signed model release will be required prior to the session.

Here are the much anticipated Bunny Mini Session details!  Please call the studio or email us for an appt.  I expect to fill up quickly.  This is my busiest mini session of the year!  These sessions are just for children (no families).  Family mini sessions will be in April and May.  I have new props and have been scouting the area for an awesome place to use them!!





Here are a few sample pics of the new products:

This is the back of the 5x10 storyboard.  The front will be a collection of 3 pictures in a simple design with your child's name and date.  These are great to set on a desk or shelf and come ready to use.


3x3 Accordion Mini Album is a great little brag book to carry in you purse and show off pictures from your session.  They will be customized to match your pictures.  You will love this!!

These beautiful boys belong to my awesome hair stylist, Amy!  They are the same age as my two youngest girls and we laugh about how neat it would be if one day they were to marry...and how cute their kids would be!  I just couldn't resist sharing these gorgeous boys.

It seems I can never stay caught up with this blog!  I truly have good intentions....

With that being said, I am posting 3 recent sessions/sneak peaks!

First up, one of my favorite little ones, Miss A!  It seems like just yesterday, mom was telling me she was pregnant and now Miss A is already one!  Time flies and I feel so privileged to watch her grow!









And next are E & E.  Such cuties!!










And last but definitely not least...the beautiful Miss C!  We did her bridals the other day in the frigid temperatures and bone chilling wind.  Is she not stunning???  She is getting married the beginning of March and I wish her the best!

Next week I will be announcing the dates for our Annual Bunny Mini Sessions and also for Spring Family Mini Sessions.  I have already had many inquiries about if and when I will have the bunnies, and I will give all the juicy details next week.  I will have two weekends of bunnies (hopefully outside!) and at least one weekend of family sessions (depending on the amount of interest).  I have a great location for both and can't wait to share with y'all.

These aren't the exact bunnies we will be using but they were the original...Oreo & Teddy and everyone knows I can't have a post without a picture!  So here is a teaser of what is to come!

MG Studios is offering last minute Valentine's Day mini sessions.  Only two dates are available and times are limited.  How adorable would it for you children to pass out custom/personalized Valentine's cards instead of the generic ones sold in stores?!  I have created the cards for my girls for the past 3 years and finally decided to offer it to my YOU!  My girls love handing their picture out!

This precious blonde hair baby boy came to see me on New Year's Day.  He is welcomed and loved by his two big brothers and doting parents.  He slept the whole session and wet on anyone that came close.  I definitely had some laundry to do after he left!  Congratulations Heath & Andrea!  He is beautiful!

I am sure you will remember this amazing couple's engagement pictures a couple of months ago.  How could you not???...she has the most beautiful eyes and they are the cutest couple (actually, the whole family is just gorgeous!).  Their wedding was at the beginning of December and I apologize that it has taken me so long to get these pictures online.  Every detail was thought of and perfectly planned (except, maybe the weather!).  It was super cold!

I am so excited about these pictures!  It was so hard to choose only a few to put on the blog.  Here is a sneak peek for the bride and groom (and family).  All comments are welcome!  Let me know what you think...
