This beautiful and talented young lady came to see me the other day for some portraits to use in her acting career.  She was such a joy to photograph and put up with the miserable conditions (heat, humidity, bugs) without any complaints!  What a trooper!  She is a natural in front of the camera and the personality just oozes out of her!  I wish her all the luck in July when she heads to New York!

I met Mr. S Wednesday at the studio to get some pictures of him to match the ones I did of his twin sister at her school.  He was just precious!  We talked about airplanes, monkeys and polar bears!  I can't wait for mom to see these shots!  It was a pleasure working with your beautiful children!

A girl!  I get the pleasure of taking pictures everytime these clients come home from Dubai.  This time we got to do maternity pictures!  They are adding a daughter to their family and are so excited!  Mr A will make an awesome big brother!  I'm sad that the next time I see them, the baby will already be 3 months old!  I tried to convince mom to fly me to Dubai for newborn pictures!!!    Yeah right!

S - You are gorgeous and I'm so excited for you!  It was great to see you and I look forward to December!

Am I allowed to say that??  I mean all of my clients are awesome, but this family is just so special to me.  I absolutely adore their oldest little girl and have been photographing her since she came home from the hospital (She is the cutie on my business card!).  Now they have another beautiful daughter that I'm getting to watch grow.

This is the first of three sessions I had yesterday.  So here is a sneak peek of Miss S & Miss A.


I can't believe how much she has grown!  She kept me smiling with her new words..."ya sure!" (in her sweet little voice).


Miss A is alread 4 months old!  I just love bald babies!  I had 4 of them!

It was such a sweet surprise when one of my clients called me up and told me she was due to have a baby soon.  I had no idea that she was even expecting and was thrilled that she planned ahead and scheduled the session before the baby was born.  Because of my vacation, sweet baby K, was already 12 days old when we did these pictures, but she was wonderful!  She was sound asleep & I could have just continued shooting all morning!  I had to force myself to stop!  Here is a teaser for mom & dad.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that MG Studios will be closed June 6th-15th.  We are taking a much needed family vacation to Destin, Florida.  I will return all phone calls and emails when I return.  If you have placed a recent order with me, all orders will be processed when I get back in town.  I didn't want packages arriving with no one home!!  I will call as soon as orders are ready to be picked up.

I am booked through most of June and am already taking appts into July.  I take fewer appts during the summer months, because my girls are all home from school.   If you are wanting an appt this summer....call ahead and don't wait until the last minute!  I always save a few spots for my newborns, so if you have a new baby or are expecting one soon, give me a call so we can get you on my schedule.

Sweet baby J was born very premature weighing only 4lbs.  He joined his forever family about 1 1/2 weeks ago and you could just see the pure joy and love in their eyes!  Mom & Dad have been waiting on this day for 7 years and oh how glorious it is!  It brought me to tears just listening to their story!

Baby J is now 6 weeks old and weighs a whopping 6lbs 2oz!  He was the perfect model for me today and I wanted to get a sneak peek on my blog before I leave for Florida.  I told mom & dad that it would only be a couple.......but you know me, I can't ever just choose a couple!  So, here are my favorites!

I had the pleasure of photographing Jill & Marcus on their special day!  Jill was a stunning bride, the ceremony was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather!  They were married at Ousie's Table in Houston, outside in the courtyard.  I know they are on their honeymoon in Guatemala, but wanted to have these waiting for her when she gets home.

One of my very awesome friends, Sarah, of Maddie Dean Photography, shot this wedding with me.  I only have a chance to post a few on my blog before I leave for vacation, but you can visit her site and see a few more HERE.  She is such a great photographer and we work so well together as a team!  This was our 3rd wedding together and we have definitely got a system down now!!!  I couldn't and wouldn't do it without her!  Thanks Sarah for everything!

Perfection!

This is a graduate of my Baby's 1st Year Plan and I can't believe that he is already a year (actually, almost 16 months, but one thing or another has delayed him coming to see me!)!!  We finished this shoot in record time and he was such a joy to shoot.  I know mom is anxious to see a sneak peek, so I wanted to get these up for her.

Mom has been planning and waiting for this opportunity for a while now and it was such a blessing to finally meet baby E and his wonderful parents & grandparents.  I have gotten my hands on some new props and goodies and couldn't wait to get a chance to use some of them.  I love it when parents just let me do my thing and are patient while I try new ideas!  Thank you!  I know you can't wait...so I will show you only a few of my favorites!
