It looks like Hurricane Ike will be making landfall just south of us near Galveston.  We are told that we will probably lose power and we are not sure for how long.  So, I will be returning emails and updating the blog when power is restored.  Hopefully, it won't be as bad as they are predicting and life will get back to normal soon.  Stay safe everyone!
