The girls and I made a trip to the Humane Society last week and boy was that an experience.  Four little animal lovers in the midst of many, many helpless and pitiful looking kittens & puppies.  We knew we were wanting a new kitten for the family, and daddy suggested a gray and white one.  I wanted one that was fluffy and cuddly!  So we walked through (for about 2 hrs) checking out all of the gray kittens.  We finally found one that we liked and decided to bring him home.

The problem is now, that he is sick.  I know that is common for animals from the shelter, but it is breaking my heart.  He seemed fine the first day and playful and spunky, now he is very lethargic and doesn't look good.  I took him to the vet yesterday and she put him on an antibiotic and told me he should be doing a little better by Monday.  We are keeping our fingers crossed.  This little fellow already has my heart!!!

On another note...the stray we took in 2 yrs ago doesn't like the new kitten at all.  Snickers doesn't mind the kids or the dogs, but is mad at me for bringing a new cat to HER house.  We have never really gotten attached to this cat and so if you know of someone that would like a nice, quiet, kinda shy house cat, let me know.  She is spayed, declawed and must be inside.  She loves to catch flies and sleep all day.  She must go to a good home!

Sorry I have been a bad blogger lately.  It is much more difficult to keep up with four girls home all day!  I will try to be better!
