I get to witness firsthand, God's work & see his perfection face to face! It almost brings tears to my eyes to know.....this is my job and I have been chosen to capture these amazing moments! In addition to my Signature Session, I am now offering a Mini Session. So, maybe the thought of doing a full session outside in this heat is unbearable, now you can do a Mini Session! These sessions are scheduled in advance and I only have a limited number of available openings.

These will NOT take the place of the Themed/Special Mini Sessions!

It's bluebonnet time again! And because I have had so many requests for bluebonnet portraits, I will be offering Bluebonnet Mini Sessions! Once again, I am teaming up with a dear friend and wonderful photographer, Cathy Hengst (Cathy Hengst Photography) to do these mini sessions. We make an awesome team and love working together!

Live Bunny Portraits - The Woodlands Children's Photographer

I am so excited to announce that the bunnies are coming back to MG Studios. This year I will be teaming up with a wonderful friend & photographer for these Limited Edition Live Bunny Portraits. All the details will be announced on Wednesday, March 16th. I just wanted to give you a heads up! They will be held on Sunday, April 3rd. So...save the date!! Be sure to email or call to book! They will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis starting Wednesday when all the information is released!!!

New Year's Special

Wow! Where did last year go?? I apologize for my lack of posting (not sure anyone even reads this crazy blog), but this past fall, I was swamped! I thought I was capable enough to manage without my assistant.....hahaha! NO WAY!!! I didn't know which way was up! So, never again, will I do a Fall Season without help!!

So, as you can see, the blog got pushed to the bottom of the priority list. I do have some really great sessions I want to share....I will work on that (a little at a time).

To start 2011 off right, I want to offer a New Year's Special!

Schedule a session by 01.11.11 (to be used in the next 11 weeks -that gives you until the end of March) and I will apply all of your session fee as a print credit! But wait, there's more! If you choose to prepay for one of my digital collections, you will also receive 1/2 off of that collection! That's HUGE!!

So in a nutshell - give me a call by Tues, January 11, 2011 and get on my calendar! You pay your session fee and I apply it as print credit. And if you want the digital images, prepay for one of the digital collections and get it half off. Easy as pie right?

All Smiles! - The Woodlands Baby Photographer

I just love it when babies come to the studio and are a whole bowl of smiles and giggles! Mr L was adorable and too much fun! Such a great age when they can sit and interact but not crawl! Makes my job super easy! Here is a sneak peek for mom & dad!

Holiday Mini Session Details

Can you believe that it is already time to start thinking about Holiday portraits? Christmas will be here before we know it! I have had many inquiries already about my Holiday Mini Sessions and I am excited to finally publish the details! Please take a few minutes and look over the information.

The location for the family sessions will be announced soon. They will be outside and will be a great opportunity to get your Christmas cards completed and a head start on gifts for your family.

I am thrilled to announce that Santa will be making an appearance at the studio. We will have a custom wooden sleigh and a winter wonderland set for this day of mini sessions. Why stand in line at the mall and fight the crowd? Come have a cookie, drink some cocoa and enjoy a few minutes visiting with Santa. Remember that these sessions are just for the kids and don't forget to bring their list!

These appointments are very limited and my schedule for the fall is booking quickly. I would hate to have to turn anyone away this year.

REMINDERS:
- a 30 min mini session provides 8-12 fully edited proofs and will be available to view within two weeks from the session at your own personal ordering session
- a deposit (see above) is required to secure your date and time and is credited toward your package choice
- deposits can be paid for with a credit card when scheduling your appointment
- tax is already included in these packages

A few quick notes before I get to the oh-so-amazing pictures!

All Boy! - The Woodlands Multiples Photographer, The Woodlands Childrens Photographer

Whew! I think I speak for mom & I both! We were exhausted after this session (twin 2 1/2 yr olds and a 7 month old)!! The baby was a doll and super smiley (unlike his brothers at this age), and his brothers were more interested in playing with the firetruck and other props than taking pictures! I assured mom that we got at least ONE picture of all three of them......and I hope mom & dad are having a blast on their vacation away from kids! Enjoy!
